Mirtapbx – voipmonitor – FAQ

Q: Is there any running instance of voipmonitor we can access? I mean the web interface, I believe voipmonitor is running on the servers. I just want to know where to go in order to access to voipmonitor. We already have an Voipmonitor server and I’m wondering if we can configure the pbxs to send data to it. Would it be a problem?
A: There is a voipmonitor instance running. You can press on the disposition link of any call in Status/Call History and it will show the relevant Voipmonitor data for that call. About using your install, it may be a problem because the system expect to be on the same server, but if you give me the credentials to access your voipmonitor database, I can check if I can configure to use it.
You’ll need to add an option to upload the pcap to a me_media table, please check the voipmonitor.conf
pcapcommand = /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/uploadvoipmonitor.php %pcap%

Q: How can I see the current status for the real PEERS?(ISP, VOX beam, among  others.) We are trying to add PBXs servers to our monitoring systems, so we can track and monitor as much information as we can.  When using the command  ‘sip show peers’ or “pjsip show endpoints” they are not listed. I’m wondering if you could provide a way for us to monitor the status.
A: MIRTA PBX uses Asterisk Realtime Architecture, so if the peer is not online, it is purged from memory. Anything that is not showing is offline.
